Growing printing company located on Long Island is  hiring an experienced Production Supervisor with background working in narrow web flexo. Duties will be to oversee the daily production workflow. Looking for a candidate who is very "hands-on" with knowledge of flexo printing presses, supervisory experience, trouble shooting, general maintenance and basic computer skills. Experience with presses such as Nilpeter and Schiavi presses preferred but any experience in flexo, gravure, letterpress or offset will be considered.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Printing Manager provides management and technical support to the Printing Department by continually developing and upgrading the flexographic printing process and the skills of the department. The Printing Press Manager is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Prepress and Ink room areas.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 10 years working experience. 5 years of on hand press experience and 5 years of supervision/ management experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
